Charkha Yoga Trust Fundation

The Charkha Yoga Trust Foundation was established with the aim of protecting, promoting, and preserving traditional crafts and medicinal plants produced in the Himalayan mountains and in rural areas of India.

Our focus is on natural incense; handwoven cotton, linen, silk, and wool textiles; natural paper; essential oils; medicinal plants; and traditional musical instruments, all produced with no or minimal use of electricity and without chemicals or petrochemical-based products.

Through donations, the Foundation is committed to supporting the communities involved in these fields, while creating opportunities for women’s empowerment and encouraging the development, preservation, and transmission of India’s artisanal, artistic, and cultural heritage.
